Large-diameter hole drilling in pipes is not everyday work. But when that moment does come, the lack of a proper portable machine quickly becomes a serious limitation.
For years, Ø 2 3/16" marked the practical upper limit for portable pipe drilling. Anything beyond that meant heavy setups, external machining, or simply turning down the job. Euroboor developed the TUBE.100S+/T (max. Ø 4") and TUBE.200S/T (max. Ø 8") for exactly those exceptional cases where large pipe holes are unavoidable and need to be done properly, on site.
Drilling large holes in pipes is not just about raw power. As cutter diameters increase, so do forces, vibration, and risk. Stable mounting, correct speed, and safety become critical.
Both TUBE machines are designed around that reality. Their pivoting permanent magnet mounts securely on curved pipe surfaces instead of fighting them, allowing controlled drilling on pipes with minimum diameters of Ø 5 1/2" (TUBE.100S+/T) and Ø 9 7/16" (TUBE.200S/T), even on material as thin as 1/8". Applications that once required stationary setups can now be handled directly on site.
Both machines are equipped with GYRO-TEC safety technology, which monitors sudden movement and excessive vibration and shuts the machine down when necessary. An oil-lubricated four-speed gearbox, electronic speed adjustment, and right/left rotation provide the control needed for large cutters on pipes and flat materials alike.
On the TUBE.200S/T, a digital display provides clear operational feedback to help the operator stay in control during heavy-duty drilling and tapping.
The TUBE.100S+/T and TUBE.200S/T are probably not machines you will need to use every day. They are, however, machines you want available when a job demands drilling far beyond Ø 2 3/16", without compromises in safety, control, or accuracy.
For those rare but critical pipe drilling tasks, Euroboor ensures there is a reliable option ready when it matters.
