TUNGSTEN CARBIDE TIPPED

Euroboor TCT (SANDVIK) annular cutters are equipped with a spiral flute which ensures optimum chip removal and makes seizure virtually impossible. These annular cutters are used for hardened materials such as HARDOX steel, stainless steels, and high tensile strength steels like railway tracks. Thanks to their composition, and when used correctly, these cutters are less prone to breakage than standard High Speed Steel cutters, especially in larger diameters and lengths.

Extremely hard and durable tungsten carbide cutting teeth (SANDVIK) for the toughest drilling tasks. Offset positioning ensures the lowest possible heat development.

  1. Extremely hard and durable tungsten carbide cutting teeth (SANDVIK): For the toughest drilling tasks. Offset positioning ensures minimal heat development.
  2. Optimised cutting angles: For the shortest drilling times and cleanest cuts.
  3. Special alloy body: Provides optimum strength and durability.
  4. Tapered inside fitment: Prevents the cutter from getting stuck and guarantees slug ejection with the correct pilot pin.
  5. Precise shank fitment: Ensures maximum interchangeability and close-tolerance drilling without run-out.
  1. Altering “continuous pre-cut” teeth geometry (SANDVIK carbide tipped): Provides faster and more stable drilling performance with precise, burr-free finishes.
  2. Well-designed spiral flute angles: Ensure optimal chip removal.
  3. Specially designed blades: Guarantee maximum stability and reduced heat.
  4. Flutes and teeth matched to diameter: Deliver best tooth load and higher cutting speeds.
  5. Precision ground shanks: Ensure perfect fit of both cutter and pilot pin, improving safety, stability, and hole accuracy.

Shank

Cutters with a diameter up to 60 mm (2 3/8") (with Depths of Cut of 35, 55, 75, 100, 150, and 200 mm):
– These use a 19.05 mm (3/4") Welnit shank.

Cutters with a diameter of 61 mm (2 7/16") and above (regardless of Depth of Cut):
– These use a 31.75 mm (1 1/4") Weldon shank.

In short:
– Smaller diameters (up to 60 mm / 2 3/8") = 19.05 mm (3/4") Welnit shank.
– Larger diameters (61 mm / 2 7/16" and up) = 31.75 mm (1 1/4") Weldon shank.
